Mary is the founder, owner and head of Specifically Equine Training Center. More than 20 years she leads some of the most amazing Arabian horses of our time to great success. The specialized skills Mary has to train and work with these beautiful horses are based on a longtime experience the young woman already gained in her childhood. Growing up riding Iceland ponies, haflingers and warmbloods, Mary already knew very early that she was going to commit her life to the horses. After school she studied to be a riding instructor and when she met Arabian horses for the first time in Austria, there was no turning back. She soon started her career working for the famous stud of Sax Arabians for two years and teamed up with Scott Allman in 1997 to establish Specifically Equine Training Center, which quickly became one of the most successful ones in Europe. Since 2008 her Training Center was located in Austria, a new mile-stone on a successful road.

Winning all over the world Mary had the possibility to train and show some of the finest Arabian horses of our times, including Redwood Lodge Romantik, world champion stallions Gazal al Shaqab and Dakharo or the timeless beauty WN Fawn Obsession. Mary has been successfully showing horses in Australia, America, Bahrain, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates and many other countries. A special relationship with the well known Albadeia Stud of Dr. Nasr Marei in Egypt has led her to this wonderful country many times, showing many beautiful straight Egyptian horses of that farm to national championship titles. But Mary does not need to be far from home to have success with horses in her hands - together with her Austrian, Swiss and German clients some of the greatest moments in the show season became reality: Champion titles with amazing horses such as Kankan MAF, MZ Djlshada, Marjan Albidayer, Bourhani Montashar and KB Zento are just a few to mention.
„I am so thankful people entrust me with their beauties and I carefully choose the horses to join our team. My special concept of working with these beautiful Arabian horses includes that I would like to be in close contact with each of them. I personally condition and work with all of my training horses. That gives me the possibility to create a special bond with each horse. Knowing their strengths and weaknesses is very important for me to be able to show them to their best”, tells Mary.
Mary ist Gründerin, Besitzerin und Chefin des Specifically Equine Training Centers. Mehr als 20 Jahre lang führte sie einige der schönsten Vollblutaraber der Welt zu großen Erfolgen. Ihre besonderen Fähigkeiten und ihr umfassendes Wissen über diese charismatischen Tiere basieren auf ihrer jahrelangen Erfahrung im Umgang mit ihnen. Aufgewachsen mit Islandponies, Haflingern und Warmblütern wusste Mary schon sehr früh, dass sie ihr Leben den Pferden widmen würde. Nach der Schule machte sie eine Ausbildung zur Pferdewirtschaftsfacharbeiterin und Reitlehrerin und als sie zum ersten Mal mit Vollblutarabern in Berührung kam, war es geschehen - es gab kein Zurück mehr. Sie startete ihre Karriere auf dem Gestüt Sax und gründete 1997 mit Scott Allman das Training Center Specifically Equine, das zu einem der erfolgreichsten in Europa werden sollte. Seit 2008 war das Specifically Equine TC von Mary Lang in Österreich zu Hause. Ein weiterer Meilenstein auf dem Erfolgsweg.
Zahlreiche Champions und bekannte Vererber wurden von Mary Lang trainiert. Dazu gehören die Weltchampions Gazal Al Shaqab und Dakharo, aber auch Redwood Lodge Romantik ebenso wie die zeitlose Schönheit WN Fawn Obsession. Mary hat bereits erfolgreich Pferde auf Schauen in Australien, den USA, Bahrain, Jordanien, den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten und vielen anderen Ländern präsentiert. Eine besondere Beziehung verband sie mit dem Gestüt Albadeia von Dr. Nasr Marei, für den sie zahlreiche Reisen nach Ägypten unternahm und dabei viele Championatstitel mit seinen Pferden erringen konnte. Aber Mary muss nicht weit von Zuhause weg sein, um Championate zu gewinnen - die schönsten Erfolge errang sie mit ihren Kunden aus der Schweiz, Österreich und Deutschland. Darunter Championatstitel mit wunderbaren Pferden wie Kankan MAF, MZ Djlshada, Marjan Albidayer, Bourhani Montashar and KB Zento.

„Ich bin so dankbar, dass mir so viele Menschen ihre Tiere anvertrauen und ich wähle unsere Trainingspferde sorgfältig aus. Mein spezielles Konzept, mit den Pferden zu arbeiten, beinhaltet, dass ich alle meine Schützlinge auch persönlich konditioniere und trainiere. So kann ich zu jedem Tier eine besondere Beziehung aufbauen. Es ist wichtig für mich, ihre Stärken und Schwächen zu kennen, damit ich das Beste aus ihnen herausholen kann“, erzählt Mary.
